From Paul Harris’ book “Christian Meditation – Contemplative Prayer for a New Generation”  three areas will be explored. The Hunger for Silence / Meditation as a Unifying Force / Meditation and Action to Build a Better Society.

The three areas of the book Peter will concentrate on are:

  1. Chapter 4 – The Hunger for Silence in Prayer
  2. Chapter 15 – Christian Meditation and Unity with Other Faiths, and
  3. Chapter 16 – Meditation and Action, Both Sides of the Same Coin

As the basic principles of meditation practised by other faith groups are similar this book discussion will be pertinent to all meditators and those keen to broaden their knowledge of meditation.
