This Wednesday of Holy Week Daryl Moresco OCarm will lead us in exploring what exactly is the meaning of the triduum and how it relates to Easter and our own lives. Note: THIS SESSION WILL BE ONE HOUR
The Easter Triduum is considered the most solemn event of the liturgical year. “Though chronologically three days, they are liturgically one day unfolding for us the unity of Christ’s Paschal Mystery (USCCB) .” It is the culmination of our journey through Lent which then lead us into Holy Week and the Easter Triduum. Preparing to celebrate this sacred event as fully as possible from a Carmelite perspective means entering into these three days as fully as possible as the mystery of Christ’s saving action unfolds for us. Each liturgical celebration of the Sacred Triduum is rich in symbolism and ritual calling us to participate more fully and profoundly in this one liturgical event.. The zoom link is.
