Blessed Baptist Spagnoli of Mantua, often simply The Mantuan (born 1447 in Mantua, died in Mantua, 1516), was a poet, Renaissance humanist, and religious leader. He is the only Carmelite to be named in Shakespeare. This Conversation will be an introduction to Mantua’s life, his writing and his multifarious and quite fascinating world. …

ALL WELCOME to join us via zoom for Prayer Meditation, Tuesdays at 5.00pm. We begin on Tuesday 7 March. Thank you to Will Day who will lead our first series of meditations during Lent. These meditation sessions will go for 40-45 minutes and will include a short reflection to lead us into a silent meditation for around 20 minutes. …
