Meditation for Thursday March 6, 2025

The classic Chinese text the Tao Ti Chi from the 4th century reads ……..

“If you realize that all things change, there is nothing you will try to hold on to.”

“If you aren’t afraid of dying, there is nothing you can’t achieve.”

One of the fruits of living a meditative life is that you can live with greater equilibrium,

with a stability and evenness, a balance.

These qualities help us to live with change as though change is life, and death.

Meditation is not just those periods that we set aside daily to practice.

Meditation is much more. It is a way; it is the centre of who we are.

The Tao again….

“We join spokes together in a wheel

But it is the centre hole

That makes the wagon move.”

Meditation brings us to that centre.
