Meditation for Thursday 5 March 2026
Once again, Grand Prix Weekend means lots of noise and for some people inconvenience. For others though it’s one of the highlights of the year.
Meditation helps us to be in control no matter what the situation, GP lover, or GP loather!
What we feel and how we react to something is always up to us.
“Nobody can hurt me without my permission”
We can choose our own thoughts, reactions, and emotions to pretty much everything, even the Grand Prix! We don’t have to freak out, overreact, or even react in a negative way.
As we realise that no-one outside of ourselves can actually control how we feel we can start to incorporate this thinking into our daily life and develop it as a thought habit. A habit that can grow stronger and stronger over time.
When we do this life becomes so much easier!
This does not presume that we are necessarily wise as it’s unwise to be sure of one’s own wisdom. It’s healthy to be reminded that the strongest might weaken and the wisest err.
Meditation and frequent mindfulness in our daily living helps us to be in control and when in control we are at the very least on the way to being wise.
