Meditation – Thursday 24th June ‘21

Hi everyone. Because we still have to wear masks indoors there will be no face to face meeting tonight. Next week, maybe?

Tonight’s reflection..

In India when people meet they often say ‘Namaste’, which is a greeting that means: I honour the place in you where the entire universe resides; I honour the place in you of love, of light, of truth, of peace. I honour the place within you where if you are in that place in you and I am in that place in me, there is only one of us…’Namaste’!

When we meditate we are one. One with each other in the mystery of meditation.

Often people tell me that they feel as one when they meditate in a group. Although we have not met face to face very much these last 18 months I have received a number of messages from people who say they meditate at 7 o’clock in the knowledge that we are all meditating at that time and that provides some connectedness, some consolation.

But meditation offers more than connectedness when we meditate as one; it extends our understanding of life, of relationships, of our connectedness with the earth, the universe.

So my friends, ‘Namaste’ as we meditate for ourselves and for the benefit of others.
