This part two of the fourth topic in the study series “Carmelite Spiritual Horizons.” The topic in “Justice and Peace in the Carmelite Tradition” facilitated by Clare McArdle. This session is the first of two parts on the same topic. First part was on Thursday 22 October and the second part is on Thursday 29 October. The reading material includes two papers: Justice and Peace and the Integrity of Creation, and Biblical Spirituality: the Struggle for Justice and Peace. Both can be read here.
Inspired by a global project of the Carmelite Order, this series explores the ancient Carmelite tradition and spirituality for a contemporary world.
The sessions aim to: Draw nourishment from Carmelite Spirituality for better service in the world; Engage participants in a personal discernment process; Build community around Carmelite Spirituality; Explore key Carmelite themes in greater depth.
