You are invited to join us to read and discuss the Acts of the Apostles each month on the third Tuesday. The group started on Tuesday 18 February and covered Chapter 1. We will continue to meet monthly until we have finished progressively reading the Acts.
Being part of the group will require a level of commitment to read the relevant parts of Acts before each monthly meeting.
Members of the group will take turn in reading aloud sections of the Acts followed by open discussion. We are not reading this as an academic exercise but rather to gain an understanding of how the early Christian communities came about, what were their concerns and how they operated.
In this way we hope to gain personal insight into our relationship with the Church in its role as a guide to living a Christian life.
