April Spiritual Reading Group: on Timothy Radcliffe OP with Susan Southall

From childhood, Timothy Radcliffe was fascinated by the word ‘Truth’. Educated by the Benedictines at Worth and Downside, he met no one who challenged his Catholic faith until he left school, when someone asked: ‘But is your faith true?’ He was inspired to study this question, and when he found there was a religious order whose motto, ‘Veritas’ means ‘Truth’ he knew he had to join it. Timothy Radcliffe was Master of the Dominican Order from 1992-2001 and at the same time ex officio Grand Chancellor of the Pontifical University of Saint Thomas Aquinas, Angelicum at Rome. From 2002 he is again a simple friar, preaching and speaking from the Dominican community of Oxford.
