Event Type

What does it cost to live a whole-hearted life inspired by the Gospel? Through poetry, song, journalling and conversation, this experiential program will offer an exploration of Gospel inspired spiritual values and how they can energise us towards a whole-hearted commitment to living fully.

Each session will run from 6:00pm-8:00pm. You can choose to attend any or all of these sessions. A light meal will be provided. Each session will run from 6.00pm-8.00pm.

Tuesday 23 September – Love and Suffering
Thursday 25 September – Tenderness and Compassion
Tuesday 30 September – Risk and Responsibility
Thursday 2 October – Gentleness and Grace

About the facilitator: Luke Edwards was appointed as the leader of The Carmelite Centre Melbourne in April 2025.

With a background in education and facilitation, Luke brings a creative spirit to his work through his music, poetry and training as a Yoga and Meditation teacher. Having recently completed training as a Counsellor and Psychotherapist, Luke has established his own practice, The Healing Tide, bringing alive his passion and expertise in work that lies at the intersection of trauma, spirituality and wellbeing.
