Meditation walk with Kathryn Pile in Botanical Gardens. Friday 15 July 12 noon – approx 1pm

  • Friday 15 July, at 12 noon
  • Meet at the Tecoma Pavilion at 11:50 am
The Tecoma Pavilion is on the Eastern Lawn and can be accessed through either B or C gate on Anderson Street.
  • The walk will take approximately 1 hour.

A meditative walk is a walk on the quiet side, connecting to Nature, for relaxation, calmness and peace, to feel the benefit during and after the experience, physically, mentally and spiritually.

I’ll take us to some of the quiet places in the Gardens, to become aware of your surroundings…and stopping at times to be still and connect to the near presence of Nature. This will include the three intimate meditations spaces the Gardens has created in Fern Gully. You will need to be able to walk over the lawns, and at times manage two or three steps along the way. Wear appropriate outdoor shoes, and dress warmly. Consider wearing an outer coat you don’t mind sitting down in if the seating is wet.

Afterwards, those that are free may like to join me at The Terrace Tearooms for a cup of coffee, or a bite of lunch.

Participant numbers are limited so please contact Kathryn asap to secure your place and to obtain more details.
