‘The Gospel has Eyes’ – A contemplative reflection looking over the year and readying our hearts for Advent and beyond.
Centered on the Chapter “The Gospel has Eyes” from Carmelite Priest Iain Matthew’s book The Impact of God: Soundings from St John of The Cross, our final Carmelite Conversation for 2025 will offer participants an opportunity to engage in a contemplative reflection focusing on the year that has been while also being moved to consider how to prepare our hearts for Advent and beyond. The session will weave together space to explore the eyes of the Gospel through journalling, heartfelt conversation, poetry and song.
